Advocacy and Communications Working Group

  • Develop advocacy agenda, strategy and plan for the Coalition
  • Raise the visibility of the Coalition through IEC Materials
  • Develop positions on key child rights issues based on evidence from child rights monitoring work
  • Propose recommended positions and facilitate sign off among members in accordance to agreed decision-making protocols
  • Popularize concluding observations/ alternative report and other human rights monitoring report
  • Engage with key government and CSOs in relation to child rights agenda

Capacity Building Working Group

  • Facilitates training;
  • Prepares modules for and serves as resource persons during capacity building activities;
  • Create a capacity building plan based on the 3 or 5 year strategic plan

Child Participation Working Group

  • Develops guidelines/ tools and ensures application of the standards for meaningful child participation.

Systems Working Group

  • Develops guidelines and tools for monitoring the UN CRC implementation;
  • Facilitates data gathering, data generation, processing, and consolidation of reports;
  • Coordinates submission of reports to different platforms.
